Butterfly, naturally astonishing, is the muse for many artists working with different mediums and forms. It had taken a chunk of time to find a fitting and breathtaking design, yet the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew that it was perfect. And though the lightness and the delicacy of Olga Drak’s original piece was hard to duplicate in a stained glass medium, I believe that this panel turned out as a rather interesting piece of art. It looks gorgeous against a window, exposed to the sun, but I do not stand opposed to the idea of framing and adding LED lights to it.
